Celebrate an ambitious Cold War prototype with the Atlantis Models H-16 Piasecki Helicopter (AMCH223). This 1:96 scale plastic kit measures 9.75 inches long and captures the tandem-rotor Transporter in detail. It features movable rotors and an operating cargo door, and comes moulded in silver and clear with decals and instructions. A swivel display stand and a collectible trading card are also included.

The full-size H-16 was evaluated by the United States Air Force and Army in the early 1950s as a high-capacity transport and rescue helicopter. Intended to be the world’s largest transport helicopter, it offered exceptional load-carrying potential, but the programme was cancelled after a 1956 test crash.
