Description

Hasegawa 1/24 Lancia 037 Rally Chardonnet (LW)

Pre-owned plastic model kit.

Lancia 037 (another name: Lancia Rally 037) is an Italian sports and rally car that was first presented to the public in 1982. Its serial production started in the same year and lasted only for a year - until 1983. The model was designed for racing and rallies in the so-called For the B group, the Lancia 037 was designed and put into production as a successor to the Stratos HF. It clearly differed from its predecessor in style, and its construction was largely based on Lancia Montecarlo. The car's body was made of early composite materials, which made it both strong and light. The 037 model, compared to the Stratos HF, was also powered by a different turbocharged power unit, generating 330 HP after modifications. The Lancia 037 started a total of 62 races, of which it won six. In 1983 she won the Constructors' World Rally Championship.
