Description

Hasegawa 1:24 Lancia "Super Delta" 1992 WRC Makes Champion (LW)

Lancia Delta is an Italian low-middle class passenger car (compact car), produced by the Fiat concern, which was first presented to the public in 1979 during the Frankfurt Motor Show. Its serial production was carried out in the years 1979-1999 and 2008-2014 and was carried out, among others in Turin, Italy.

The Lancia Delta was designed and put into production as a successor to the Fulvia model and a supplement to the Beta model in the initial period of production. Compared to Fulvia, the new Lancia cars differed primarily in the significantly changed exterior design, which was co-created by Giorgietto Giugiaro. The car also offered new power units, borrowed from Fiat Ritmo, as well as higher travel comfort and a slightly higher level of safety. The car turned out to be a successful design, as evidenced by winning the European Car of the Year title in 1980. The Lancia Delta has three generations in the course of series production. One cannot ignore the fact that the rally versions of this model turned out to be extremely successful and the drivers who rode them won the title of World Rally Champions four times!
