Praga V3S is a Czechoslovak universal truck from the post-war period. The first copies of this vehicle appeared in 1953, and serial production (in two different factories) was carried out in the years 1953-1990. The vehicle was powered by a single diesel engine with a capacity of 7.4 liters and 98 hp.

Praga V3S was created as a development of the V3T truck at the Skoda plant in Mlada Boleslav. The new car was to perform both civil and military functions. Final after a series of tests and corrections, a relatively successful design was created. First of all, Praga V3S was characterized by very good off-road driving properties, it was solidly constructed and reliable, it was also relatively simple in construction and easy to use. The disadvantages, however, include very high fuel consumption and an underdeveloped steering system, which required the use of a lot of force on the part of the driver. On the basis of the Praga V3S chassis, several specialized versions were created, for example, a crane car or a tanker car.
