Airbus builds on the success of previous series with the new A320neo series. It differs from the older one mainly by new engines, better aerodynamic properties, wider cabin, better sound insulation properties, more seats and overall reduced operating costs. Neo in the name means "new engine option", in translation the A320neo series can be chosen from CFMI LEAP-1A or Pratt & Whitney PW1000G engines. The first flight of the A320neo version took place on September 25, 2014. One of the first The customer was Lufthansa, Germany, which of course presents its new painting work on the machines.
