Description

The Airbus A380 (also known as Super-Jumbo) is a double-decker, four-engine airliner. Designed in close collaboration with major airlines, airports and aviation authorities, it is the most advanced, spacious and productive passenger airliner ever created. The A380 project was launched in December 2000 and the ready-made aircraft entered service in early 2006, setting completely new standards in air travel. The A380 is the world's largest commercial airliner. The size of the production hall in which it is produced broke world records. Half a kilometer long, 250 meters wide and 46 meters high - including over 32,000 tons of steel - 4 times more than the Eiffel Tower - plus a quarter of a million cubic meters of concrete. The plane itself is 73 meters long and can accommodate 555 passengers, divided into three travel classes. Its carrying capacity is 560 take-off tons. Currently, the A380 already flies with such airlines as: Air France, Emirates, Korean Air, Lufthansa, Malaysia Airlines, Qantas, Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines and Virgin Atlantic Airways. Technical data: Top speed: 1020 km / h; maximum ceiling 13,144 m, maximum range: 15,200 km, take-off weight 560,000 kg.
