Revell 1:72 Eurocopter EC635 Military (LW)

The Eurocopter EC635 Tiger is a modern, military, light multi-role classic helicopter with a fenestron tail rotor and a fixed landing gear. A consortium of companies from France and Germany was responsible for the production - at the moment it is part of the Airbus concern. The drive - in the EC635 P2 version - is provided by two Pratt and Whitney Canada PW206B2 engines with a power of 817 HP each. The first flight of this machine took place in the mid-1990s. Production started in 1998 and is still going on.

Eurocopter EC635 is a highly developed version of the EC135 helicopter, which has been adapted to perform strictly military tasks. The new helicopter took over from its predecessor the general concept of the helicopter (e.g. a drive consisting of two engines) and many components, but underwent many modifications. First of all, a completely new engine with a higher maximum power was used, the entire structure of the helicopter was strengthened, the shape of the front of the fuselage was slightly changed, the possibility of carrying weapons by the EC635 through added beams was also added. Avionics has also undergone far-reaching changes. The machine is offered in several versions, for example: EC635 P2 (helicopter powered by Pratt and Whitney Canada engines) or EC635 T2 (version with Turbomeca Arrius 2B2 engines). In 2013, the users of these helicopters were Iraq, Jordan and Switzerland.
