Nissan Skyline is a Japanese passenger car, which during the history of its production was classified as: compact car, mid-size car and upper middle car. compact executive car ). The car debuted on the market in 1957 and its production is still ongoing. In the generation that was introduced to the market in 2014. the car is 479 cm long, 182 cm wide, with a wheelbase of 285 cm.

The presented vehicle was initially manufactured by the Prince Motor Company, but at the time of their merger with Nissan in 1967, the car began to be produced under the name Nissan Skyline. It is also worth adding that the engineer who previously worked at the Prince Motor Company plants was the person who exerted the greatest influence on the development of this car Shinichiro Samurai. It is assumed that he directly or indirectly influenced the technical solutions of the Skyline model until his death in 2011! Chronologically, the first generation of the car was produced between 1957 and 1964 and can be classified as a rather luxurious car powered by engines with a capacity of 1.5 or 1.9 liters. Over time - and with the introduction of the next generations - the Skyline became more and more sporty, as can already be seen in the 1968-1972 models, especially in the example of the 2-door coupe. The breakthroughs for the Skyline model are considered to be the versions launched in 1977 (C211 and CG211), which had a completely new 6-cylinder engine. The latest version of the Skyline model has been available on the market since 2014, which uses 2.0 and 3.0 liter combustion engines as the propulsion unit, as well as a 3.5 liter hybrid engine. Undoubtedly, due to its long history as well as technical advantages, the Skyline model has earned itself the name of a "cult car".
