The Boeing P-8 Poseidon is an American naval patrol and reconnaissance aircraft and anti-submarine (ZOP) and surface anti-submarine (ZOP) and surface anti-submarine aircraft from modern times. The machine first flew in 2009 and entered service in 2013. So far, about 80 aircraft of this type have been built. The aircraft is 39.47 meters long with a wingspan of 37.64 meters and a height of 12.83 meters. The drive is provided by two CFM International CFM56-7B27A turbofan engines with a thrust of 121 kN each. The cruising speed is approx. 815 km / h, and the maximum flight range is approx. 8,300 kilometers. The aircraft has five internal pylons and six external pylons on which it can carry a wide range of marine weapons.
