Atlantis 1/600 USS Bainbridge Guided Missile Frigate

Reproduces the nuclear cruiser of the US Navy that was commissioned in the 1960s.

The USS Bainbridge was commissioned in October 1962 as one of the US Navy's first nuclear-powered guided missile cruisers.
It is also known for forming the First Nuclear Task Force, the world's first combat unit of nuclear-powered ships, along with the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CVN-65) and the nuclear-powered guided missile cruiser Long Beach.
The displacement at full load is 9,100 tons. The overall length is 172m and the width is 17.60m. Equipped with two GE reactors, it had a maximum speed of 34 knots.
It is equipped with two RIM-2 Terrier Mk.10 missiles, two 3-inch 50-caliber guns, Mk.112 Asrock launchers, etc. It
participated in the Vietnam War and was active around the world until it was decommissioned in 1996, while undergoing overhauls and modernization during the war.

This is a plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the US Navy's nuclear guided missile cruiser, USS Bainbridge (CGN-25), in 1/600 scale.
This kit is a re-release by Atlantis of a kit released by Aurora in 1965. The distinctively designed hull is modeled with a total length of approximately 280 mm.
The model is a full hull model that reproduces the bottom of the ship. The rudder and screw equipped on the bottom of the ship are also faithfully reproduced.
In addition, a dedicated display stand with a design that evokes nuclear power is also included, and a nameplate is also provided.
