Dragon 1:35 Sd.Kfz.138/1 Geschutzwagen 38 M fur s.lG.33/2
Ausf grills. The M (Sd.Kfz.138/1) is a German self-propelled gun from the Second World War. The first prototypes were built in 1943, and the serial production was carried out in 1943-1944. About 280 vehicles of this type, not including ammunition cars, were created in its course. The cart was about 4.95 meters long, 2.15 meters wide and 2.47 meters high. The drive was provided by a single Praga AC engine with a capacity of 147 HP. The armament consisted of a single 150mm sIG33 cannon and a 7.92mm MG34 machine gun.
Ausf grills. The M was developed for the needs of the German land forces as a far-reaching modernization of the Pz.Kpfw 38 (t) light tank, and using the experience gained from the construction of the Grille Ausf. H. Compared to the Pz.Kpfw 38 (t) tank, the presented self-propelled gun had an engine moved to the middle of the hull, and the main armament with armor was mounted at the rear of the vehicle. This treatment improved the car's stability compared to the Ausf variant. H, as well as allowing firing at a greater elevation angle of the SIG 33 gun. Grille Ausf. M were used primarily in artillery divisions of armored divisions and armored grenadier divisions. They were used on both the Eastern and Western Front.
