Thunder Models 1/35 LRDG Ford F30 Patrol Truck (Limited Edition)
A special "Limited Bonus Edition" release of the Ford F30 Patrol Truck as used by the famous Long Range Desert Group (LRDG) in North Africa during WWII. Based on the Canadian Military Pattern (CMP) Ford F30 chassis, this kit was developed in partnership with the LRDG Preservation Society to ensure maximum historical accuracy.
Limited Edition Extras: This special edition includes significant upgrades over the standard kit, featuring two highly detailed resin figures, resin road wheels, and a set of 3D-printed resin weapons (including Lewis guns, Vickers K, and Boys anti-tank rifles).
LRDG Specifics: Accurately captures the heavily modified "desert raider" configuration, including the stripped-down cab, condenser system on the running board, and sand channels.
High-Detail Chassis: Features a fully reproduced V8 engine, drivetrain, and the specific suspension setup used on these 4x4 trucks.
Multimedia Content: Includes a photo-etched fret for fine details like sand channel mounts and tool brackets.
Stowage: Comes with a variety of stowage items essential for deep desert patrols, such as jerry cans, crates, and equipment packs.
Markings: High-quality decals are provided for several specific LRDG patrol vehicles.
